AirCastLive App Review
Quite recently, an exceptionally new product was released for iPad2, iPod Touch and iPhone users by the developers at AirCast Mobile (www.aircast-mobile.com), a mobile media company, by the name of AirCastLive. Sharing private or public mobile videos with a large group of people is made extremely easy for users by the AirCastLive app. Users can easily film themselves or others using this app since both the regular and front-facing cameras can be used to record videos. Then the app will either automatically upload public videos to YouTube or keep the videos private, per the user’s choice. The app also saves the videos within the app so that users can view or distribute them later.

Sharing mobile recordings with different people has never been very streamlined for Apple gadgets users. First off, to upload to YouTube a user would have record a video, then click into their video library, select the video from their library, click on the features button of the video, select YouTube from the available options, enter their user name and password to log into YouTube then enter in a title, description, tags, category and then select public or private on YouTube’s page and then hit submit. This 10 step process would then have to be repeated every single time you recorded a video and wanted to upload it to YouTube.
To share a mobile video with their personal friends and family via email, a very similar process would have to be followed each and every single time the iPhone owner wanted to email a video. First off the user would have record a video, then click into their video library, select the video from their library, click on the features button of the video, select email video from the available options, enter in a subject and description and each email address of the user’s personal contacts and then hit submit.
The AirCastLive app not only combines the duplicity of these manual processes but also aids in simplifying the whole process and makes it extremely convenient to distribute mobile videos. Once the app has been set up, all the user has to do is hit record, hit stop recording, select private or public, enter a title and a description and hit send. The app stores up to 5 personal email addresses so the user doesn’t have to repeatedly enter them time and time again. The app defaults to AirCastLive’s YouTube channel so there is no need to log into YouTube, every time you want to upload a video. The app also, stores all the user’s videos & video descriptions so in the event a user wants to make a private video public, all they have to do is click public and that’s it.
The app’s functionality works with both the standard and the front facing camera so users can record videos of themselves or of other people all within the same application. AirCastLive also allows users to switch from the front facing camera to the standard camera with a single click of a button and then back again enabling instant toggling functionality between the two cameras.

The AirCastLive app’s interface was designed to be both immensely easy to use and to quickly draw the attention of the user. In conjunction with AirCast Mobile’s iPhone Accessory “The AirClip”, the AirCastLive app was designed with the user in mind and enables single hand recording eliminating the fear of dropping ones phone and without the “shaky hand” syndrome that a lot of mobile phone video creator seem to suffer from. The AirCastLive app is now available in the App Store and functions with a variety of Apple devices including the iPad2, the iPod touch 4G and the iPhone, 3G, 3GS, 4 & 4s. Additionally the iOS 3.0 operating system or later, which is pre-installed in these devices is required for the app to function appropriately.
Distributing and viewing videos was never this easy for iPad2, iPod Touch and iPhone users but now thanks to the release of the AirCastLive app, video distribution has become far more convenient.
